Canon is starting the year out with a brand new body. Just today Canon released the EOS-1D Mark II, the company’s new flagship camera body. Boasting a 20.2 megapixel full-frame sensor, dual pixel auto-focus (the first full-frame Canon with this feature), a completely wild ISO sensitivity range (100 to 51,200), and the capability of shooting RAW continuously at up to 14 frames per second. The camera will be a boon to sports photographers and photojournalists – it can shoot bursts of 170 images with the assistance of auto-exposure and auto-focus.
The new flagship shooter from Canon is also capable of filming 4K video at 60 frames per second, has a 3.2-inch touch panel and 1.62 million-dot screen to review all the shots you’ve taken. Other features include built-in GPS and Wi-Fi.
