2016 Porsche Boxster Spyder
Designed specifically for the purists out there, this year’s New York Auto Show has brought about the official unveiling of the 2016 Porsche Boxster Spyder.
Forget the fancy drop top and new age gearbox, Porsche has outfitted this bad boy with a manually operated fabric roof (released electrically through the rear deck), and thrown a fan favorite six-speed manual transmission into the mix. While there is no radio or air conditioning system (in an effort to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle) Porsche will throw in the former factory options at no extra cost. The 2-door sports car is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six engine pumping out 375 horsepower, helping it sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 4 seconds with a 180 mph top speed. This model will begin hitting showroom floors this October, with a window sticker of $82,100.
