Rappers rejoice, your favorite big body Benz is back on the scene. That’s right, Daimler’s flagship marque has been resurrected in the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600.

Like a yacht on wheels, the Maybach S600 is essentially a bigger and badder S-Class, measuring 8 inches longer than its less luxurious brethren (214 inches in all). Of course something that large needs a monstrous powerplant, and Benz was happy to oblige. Under the hood lies a bi-turbo V12 engine producing 523 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque. Although we don’t necessarily expect a Maybach to be blazing fast, its 0-60 mph time of 5 seconds is impressive to say the least. Where the Maybach shines is the interior. Decked out with amenities like IWC clocks, handcrafted champagne flutes, Burmester sound, and a slew of other touches, this is truly the pinnacle of luxury automobiles. Expect the 4-door to return to local dealers in the summer of 2015.
