
2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R
Right on cue, Kawasaki has pulled the curtain back on the latest iteration of their beloved superbike – the 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.
Aesthetically, this thing looks almost identical to its predecessor, but that’s where the similarities stop. The 998cc in-line four cylinder engine has been given a complete overhaul that includes new pistons, camshafts, cylinder head and primary gear, along with a a lighter crankshaft, redesigned porting with electronic throttle valves, and a 25 percent bigger airbox. All of these new enhancements result in 210 horsepower along with 83.7 lb-ft of torque. An intelligent braking system complete with Brembo brakes up front give you stop a dime power, while the Cornering Management function helps riders corner like a pro.
