Ducati has yet to nail the concept of a relaxed cruiser, as the company has been mostly focused on getting their bikes to go fast, and then faster. But while it’s strange to see a Ducati motorcycle hit thee market without any plastic on the side, the newly unveiled XDiavel 2016 appears to be the company’s first serious attempt at a cruiser.
It has a 1262cc engine which hits its stride at 5,000 rpm, and it has slightly less horsepower than the Diavel. Each rider gets their own ergonomic drive, as there are 60 different ride positions, because there are four different footrest positions, five different seats and three different handlebars to choose from. Even though it’s a cruiser, it’s still able to hit a 40-degree lean before the footpegs start hitting. And as far as the look of the bike is concerned, the designers nailed the futuristic cruiser by giving the bike an edgy feel to it.
