Ducati is set to introduce their newest bike, the Monster 1200 R, which is the fastest naked bike that the company has ever produced.

The new model will have a more compact and lightweight frame, sporting new dimensions that is targeted at taller riders. The bike will use a Testastretta 11 degree DS twin-cylinder to push out 160 horsepower and 97 lb-ft of torque, and will feature a six-speed transmission. The typical Monster design of the tank blends with the sporty lines of the rear section that will immediately send out vibes of power and dynamism. The aerodynamic tailpiece points upwards with the seat sloping down just a bit lower. The license plate holder also sits up in a high position, allowing for a full view of the 200/55 tyre. The bike is available in red and black. Pricing is expected to start at $18,000. [Purchase]
