Italian cars are well-known for their aesthetic appeal, and Enzo Ferrari is no stranger to the ways of making a good-looking car. The first Ferrari to ever grace the American market was the Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider, which was a convertible version of the 250 GT Berlinetta.

The most recent sale of a 250 GT LWB California Spider auctioned for a whopping $8.8 million USD. The car was powered by the 223bhp 2953cc Colombo V12 engine, with power going directly to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. The California Spider also sported four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes to stop it on a dime. This midnight blue Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider, which once belonged to Prince Alvise Hercolani, comes with an optional silver hard top, and will be auctioned off through RM Auctions this summer season.
