2015 Polaris Slingshot
Ever wonder what would happen if a Campagna T-Rex and Ariel Atom produced a child? We’re willing to bet the offspring would look a lot like this. Say hello to the 2015 Polaris Slingshot.
Constructed by the Minnesota based company most known for their ATVs, the Slingshot is the perfect solution for the weekend warrior looking to hit the mountain roads. Technically it’s a motorcycle, and not a car – which is both good and bad. The bad; you have to wear a helmet. The good; Polaris was able to forego a ton of unnecessary “car” equipment when building this thing out, helping the carbon fiber shelled three-wheeler tip the scales at an ultra light weight 1,725 pounds. The vehicle is powered by a 2.4-liter EcoTec engine pumping out 176 horsepower, and puts those ponies down through a five-speed manual transmission. There are 2 different options to choose from, both of which come with standard features like ABS, electric power steering, electronic stability control, and traction control. The base model will start at just $19,999. Not too shabby.
