2015 Jeep Renegade
The Jeep Wrangler is an iconic vehicle for adventurists, and now the folks at Jeep are ready to debut the smaller 2015 Jeep Renegade at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
This baby Jeep is more than your average compact SUV – it’s actually built to take a beating. The 4WD mini-Jeep will be equipped with your choice of either a 1.4-liter or 2.4 liter gasoline engine, and while stateside resident won’t be getting a diesel option, residents outside of the U.S. will. Not much is known about the specs on this bad boy, but the 1.4-liter option is said to be a turbo-charged 160 horsepower engine equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. Its 2.4-liter counterpart will not feature forced induction, and will be mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Of course there will also be a more off-road capable Trailhawk edition as well. Our favorite part is the removable glass roof, opening up the vehicle to the surrounding elements – great for sleeping under the stars during a camping trip.
