When it comes to performance, American auto makers have been bringing their A-game to the table. Dodge’s Hellcat twins have most certainly been the most eyebrow raising, but it looks like Ford might have something to say about that. Meet the 2015 Ford Mustang RTR.

Our hats really have to go off to professional drifter Vaughn Gittin for this one. His RTR brand has teamed up with Ford to create a Mustang for the ages. Let’s get right to the good stuff. This beast of a vehicle is packed with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine producing an Earth rattling 725-horsepower – right off the showroom floor. The vehicle has also seen a slew of other updates from the adjustable suspension to the stiffer anti-roll bars, along with a set of Brembo brakes on all 4 to help this thing stop on a dime. And as with all special edition models, the body kit treatment was all but certain. The Mustang RTR is slated to hit Ford dealers in the coming months, and we imagine it will be a hot commodity with automotive enthusiasts looking for the best bang for their buck.
