Ducati’s latest masterpiece, recently shown at the EICMA show in Milan, looks like it could be on some whole other level—a level we’d love to be on. The 2015 Multistrada 1200 is loaded with top-of-the-line technology, but it all starts with the 1198cc Testastretta L-twin engine, a mechanical marvel that delivers 160 hp and 100 lb-ft of torque.

It’s the first engine equipped with the Desmodromic Variable Timing (DVT), promising an unprecedented combination of torque, class-leading power, super-smoothness and low fuel consumption. The Multistrada 1200 is also the only motorcycle in the world with variable timing on all cylinder valves. Other notable features include Bosch-Brembo cornering ABS, electronic cruise control, Ducati Wheelie Control and an Inertial Measurement Unit that measures roll, pitch and yaw. [Purchase]
