2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat
When Dodge starting leaking the details of their 2015 Chellenger SRT Hellcat, we knew it would be fast – crazy fast. And it was. So, naturally, we had high hopes for the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. And Dodge delivered.
Equipped with the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine as its sibling, this pretty little thing pumps out 707 horsepower along with 650 lb-ft of torque, making it the fastest four-door production car on the planet (at least according to Dodge). So what does all this power amount to? This beastly vehicle sprints to 60 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds, runs a 11-second 1/4 mile, and tops out at just over 200 mph. Not bad for a sedan that tips the scales at 4,560 pounds. The vehicle uses an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and unfortunately doesn’t look to be offered in a manual version. Of course with this much power, and this much weight, we can’t imagine fuel consumption is very good. But we also can’t imagine people looking to buy a 11-second muscle car are looking for the MPG numbers on the window sticker.
