Chevrolet shows that coupes and sedans aren’t the only vehicles they have up their sleeves during this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show as they unveil the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 to the world.

Powered by a 2.8-liter Duramax diesel engine, this pickup pumps out 181 horsepower with 369 lb-ft of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission. Seeing that it’s built to tackle the rock-strewn trails, the vehicle has also been outfitted with plenty off-road components. Essentially an off-variant of the standard Chevy Colorado, the ZR2 is 4 inches wider than the standard mid-sized pickup and sees trimmed down front and rear bumpers to improve both the truck’s approach and departure angles. It’s also been outfitted with a built-in winch out front, flip-out aluminum tow-hooks, electronically locking front and rear differentials, and 18-inch bead-lock style wheels wrapped in 275/65R18 off-road tires on all four corners. The truck is just a concept at the moment, but we think this one could up becoming a reality.
