2015 Apple 12-Inch Macbook
The notebook industry hasn’t been a good one to be a part of the past 12 months – unless you’re Apple of course. The brand has seen a 21% increase in laptop sales year over year, while Apple’s competitor’s are struggling to see any success at all, with a 3% decrease in sales. The Cupertino-based company looks to strike while the iron is hot with the 2015 Apple 12-Inch Macbook.
Aesthetically, it’s hard to argue that anything else on the market even comes close. The 2015 offering is the thinnest and lightest MacBook to date, measuring just 13.1 mm and weighing only 2 pounds, while still offering up an impressive 10 hours of battery life (35% increase over last year’s model). The new MacBook features a 12-inch Retina display, a completely re-engineered keyboard, and most notably a re-tooled Force Touch trackpad, a trackpad that detect both motion and the amount of pressure applied with your fingers. The notebook is powered by an Intel Core M processor, and is the first MacBook to go completely fan-less. Apple plans on shipping the new laptop on April 10th, with a retail price tag starting at $1,299. It’s available in your choice of silver, space grey, and even all gold. [Purchase]
