Losing a dog is an occurrence that’s all too common in today’s world. Dogs are wanderers, and even the most loyal dogs can wander away only to lose their nose. The Gibi pet locator is here to change all of that. The Gibi pet locator is a lightweight GPS tracking device that your dog wears, enabling you to locate them using Google Maps when necessary.

It certainly sounds like a no-brainer device; who wouldn’t want to be able to locate their dog at all times. The Gibi pet locator is also waterproof and tough, so even if your dog loves to splash around in the creek behind your house, you won’t lose track of him because the device will remain unharmed electronically. With the Gibi app, you’re able to set a safe zone for your dog, and then receive an email, text or app notification if your dog goes outside of that safe zone. And, the app can even be sent to friends and family if your dog leaves the safe zone so you’ll have all hands on deck to get someone nearby your dog’s location. The Gibi does require a monthly contract for $10 on top of the cost of the device itself ($129.99), or you can choose the yearly option for $100 to save a little money. Three months of service is included with the initial purchase. [Purchase]
