As wearables continue to gain a bit of traction on the tech scene, we can expect to see a whole lot of innovation in the coming year. One of our favorite concepts is the Cicret Bracelet, a wristband that turns your arm into a touch screen.

The device itself looks like your typical fitness tracker, and while it does provide many of the same features as your current Jawbone, it does a whole lot more as well. The device uses a row of eight proximity sensors that point towards the user’s forearm, projecting an Android interface right onto the user’s arm. Cicret is outfitted with an accelerometer, vibration monitor, LED for notifications, and pairs with your smartphone using WiFi, Bluetooth and a Micro USB port.

The clarity of the screen and the touchscreen responsiveness could use some improvement, but with a release date set for 12-18 months out, the company has plenty of time to get the details dialed in.

Cicret plans on releasing both a 16 GB and 32 GB model, with a starting retail price of $400. Of course things could change in the coming months, and we are excited to see what the final product looks like. [Cicret]
