The EICMA motorcycle show in Milan brought about many new motorcycle concepts for the future, and our personal favorite was a pair of Husqvarna 401 Motorcycle Concepts from the industrial design company Kiska.

The 401 VITPILEN and 401 SVARTPILEN gain their inspiration from the brand’s own vintage 1950s designs. Both bikes rid themselves of any fancy doodads, sporting a simple and sleek design that’s both cutting edge and modern. The motorcycles are both powered by a 400cc water-cooled single putting down 43 horsepower, and each one weighs in at less than 300 pounds. The stripped down bikes are nothing more than concepts at this time, gauging public interest before the brand decides whether or not to delve into full production mode. Not all concepts get us excited, but this is one we’d definitely like to see hit the open road in the near future.
