Surfer Hut Cottage in Portugal
If you ever find yourself on the Portugese coast with an urge to spend your days doing nothing and loving it, we’ve found just the place.
This handsome array of fishing huts connects together to form an eye-catching cottage in Comporta (about an hour south of Lisbon), and its commitment to the environment is almost as wow-worthy as the design by Pequenina Rodrigues. The whole thing was created on sand and recycled wood structures, and the straw huts are actually linked to each other via sand dunes. In the main cabin there’s a living room-kitchen that features three porches overlooking a Jacuzzi. Elsewhere you’ll find a master bedroom with bath and three guest bedrooms. Bring your wine and your acoustic guitar and nothing else.
