OM/ONE Levitating Bluetooth Speaker

Here’s one of those things you never knew you wanted until you’ve actually seen it: Om Audio’s OM/ONE levitating Bluetooth speaker. This spherical speaker is the world’s first levitating speaker as it floats a few inches off of its base and gets rid of the wasted amplification energy found in normal speaker models.

The OM/ONE gets its levitating ability from, as you might guess, the use of magnets, with the magnets being embedded within the base and the spherical speaker itself. It has built-in Bluetooth 4.0, meaning you can connect it to your music devices from across the room. The speaker has a rechargeable battery that holds for 15 hours of playback on a single charge. You’re also able to pair two OM/ONEs together to create an apparently incredible stereo effect. Om Audio has set pre-orders for the device at $199, although you can get it for $179 if you become an early backer. Watch the video below. [Purchase]
