Genius Shower Thoughts Read by Nick Offerman

The Internet comes up with some brilliant stuff, no doubt. One of the latest batches of comedy gold has emerged on reddit, and it’s called Shower Thoughts; think Stephen Wright’s comedy, only crowdsourced. They’re both impressively clever and funny.

But how can they be even funnier? Watching Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) read them sitting on a porch. Hearing hilarious pearls of wisdom like “The person who would proofread Hitler’s speeches was a grammar Nazi,” just comes out funnier when it creeps out from under a massive brown mustache with a sitar soundtrack behind it. Two more for the road: “My right elbow has never been touched by my right hand,” and “Once you have a Ph.D., every meeting you go to becomes a doctor’s appointment.”
