It’s a known fact that many writers gain their inspiration from what’s around them. With that being said, we can only wonder what kind of whimsical tales are dreamed up in this quaint Writer’s Shed.

Designed by the British studio Weston, Surman and Deane, this tiny contemporary structure serves as creative environment for the owner – who happens to have a passion for children’s literature and mythologies. The fairy tale inspired hut features a clean facade constructed from cedar, and is located in the heart of London. The little backlit building really stands out against all the brick housing surrounding the shed, and is nestled at the back of the owner’s garden. This place really brings on a whole new meaning to the word shed.
