McLaren’s 650S has been the talk of the town since first hitting the scene, and it looks like the supercar maker’s iterations on the model are from over. The most exciting reveal at the Goodwood Festival of Speed comes to us in the form of this McLaren 650S GT3.

As if the standard 650S couldn’t get any better, McLaren has upped their own ante, transforming the sports car into a full-fledged track killer. Updates to the exterior include everything from a 52mm wider track and new shoes (tires and rims) to a massive carbon fiber wing out back. All of these aesthetic updates were designed to increase aerodynamics, but the team didn’t stop there. Powering the vehicle is the brand’s 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8, that coupled with an upgraded ECU now pumps out 493 horsepower. A new and improved six-speed gearbox improves efficiency, and increased leg room, head room, and new driver seat help the driver stay comfortable during the long haul. There will be a total of 15 650S models built for the 2015 racing season, all of which will carry a price tag hovering around $565,000 USD.
