Fireball Whiskey has become wildly successful in the past few years, soaring to over $61 million in retail sales (not including bars where it’s immensely popular) in 2013. The cinnamon liquor has become a threat to major brands, and you better believe that they won’t stand by and do nothing about it. This week the world’s number one Kentucky bourbon is jumping on board as they introduce their Jim Beam Kentucky Fire Whiskey.
Just like Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire, this concoction is in direct response to Fireball. As we’ve already detailed several times in the past, none of these are actually American whiskey (falling short of the 80-proof requirements), but that’s not stopping this newly popular flavor of liquor from flourishing. This bad boy goes down smoothly with cinnamon hints and a warming spicy kick. While we’re sure some will sip on this new Jim Beam, it was designed to be consumed as shots.
