Yacht builders are constantly having to innovate in order to meet the demands of their clients. Typically this involves building a bigger boat, but Wider Yachts decided to think outside of the box designing a yacht that can actually expand and contract – because let’s face it, you don’t always need that extra space.

The Wider 42 is packed with matching 370 horsepower engines helping the boat reach speeds of up to 44 knots, but it’s in the construction design where the real magic lies. The lounge area of the boat can be expanded to 18 square meters within a matter of seconds (literally 12 seconds) offering up more party room for you and your guests. The boat measures in at 12 meters in length, but doesn’t skimp on the luxury amenities, equipped with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. There’s even a jetski parked in its own stall at the rear, perfect for hitting the local beaches.
