“Morning wood” kinda takes on a whole new safe-for-work meaning when you hop on one of these skateboards after breakfast. That’s because New York-based Salt Surf uses 100% walnut top and bottom veneers, sandwiching layers of maple veneer, to create a stylish and durable hardwood cruiser.

The deck runs 22 inches long and features a little kick in the tail for added control, with clear grip tape on the top. Each one of these stately boards is made in California, and they’re available as complete skateboards or decks only in a trio of colors: Pigeon Grey, Mustard and Mint. They start shipping May 15.
