If living on the cutting edge is too easy, take the next step and be the first person on your block with a gesture control ring. Nod – available for pre-order now at $149 – appears to be the best way to get to the Minority Report-style party before anybody else.

Connected via Bluetooth, Nod works with a small but growing number of smart devices, letting you flick, type, swipe, and wave your way through various screens and applications. The ring itself features a metal rim covered by a waterproof plastic case, and it comes in 12 sizes. Nod comes with a charging cradle that doubles as a ring holder, and the makers say you can get a full day of use out of it before needing a charge. [Purchase]
