When it comes to performance footwear, minimalist design reigns supreme on today’s landscape. The key is to build a low profile, lightweight sneaker that still provides all of the support and comfort one needs, and the Adidas Pure Boost seems to be the complete package.

The sportswear giant has pooled together their best tams from adidas Sport Performance, Y-3 and Originals to create the shoe. The breathable four-way stretch seamless upper has been paired with no sock liner in attempt to create a feeling of standing on nothing but the ultra comfortable Boost midsole. The upper has also been outfitted with a TIRRENINA suede heel, and the side panel three-stripe branding rounds things out. The shoe will be available in four different colorways (black, solar blue, tech grey and infrared) when it releases on May 14th. Expect to pay $120 for these performance sneakers. [Purchase]
