New supercars seem to pop up on the regular these days, and as auto enthusiasts, that brings nothing but smiles to our faces. The latest supercar startup comes to us from Arash Farbound and his British team of engineers and designers. Introducing the Arash AF8.

Serving as the follow up to the one-off, $1 million AFT10, the AF8 was created to compete with the likes of the Ferrari 458 Italia and McLaren MP4 12C. Much like the AF10 before it, this new model is equipped with a mid-mounted 7.0 liter V8 engine that puts down 550 horsepower and 472 lb-ft torque through the six-speed manual transmission. This setup helps the supercar race from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of right around 200 miles per hour. The vehicle is crafted from a mixture of steel, aluminum, and carbon fiber, keeping the curb weight at a mere 2,645 pounds. The Arash AF8 will be sold for roughly $275,000.
