The first vehicle ever produced in Denmark is promising to make up for all those years of nada. The Zenvo ST1 features a monstrous 6.8-liter V8, that generates an astounding 1,004 horsepower.

It’s a hand-built, rear wheel-drive car that uses both a turbocharger and supercharger, and Zenvo says 0-62 mph happens in just three blurry seconds. Top speed? 233 mph. It’s not one of those carbon-fiber-everywhere kinda rides though; at 3,500 pounds, it’s pretty hefty. So is the price tag at more than a million bucks. We first saw the prototype of the ST1 in 2009, and a couple of years later the car went into limited production, but everything is about to be made official at the Geneva Motor Show in a couple of weeks.
