We here at HiConsumption love the literary classics. We love the way they look on our shelves. We love how their crusty yellow pages smell. We love nearly everything about them—except the tedious task of, ya know, reading them.

Thankfully Ian Doescher has returned with William Shakespeare’s interpretation of a story we can get behind: the original Star Wars trilogy. After his Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope was a smash hit, it was only fitting that he grace us with the next two installments: William Shakespeare’s The Empire Striketh Back and William Shakespeare’s The Jedi Doth Return. Enjoy Episodes V and VI as if Bill the Thrill wrote them himself, in flowery iambic pentameter with beautiful black-and-white Elizabethan-style artwork. These plays will let scratch that Shakespearian itch, without having to actually deal with all that ancient drama. Because when it’s Hamlet vs. Han Solo, there’s no contest. [Purchase]
