It looks like someone finally decided to create the world’s first real life R2-D2 for homes, and it comes to us in the form of the Keecker robotic butler.

This little robot lets you project onto any surface, turning any wall in your home into a movie screen using content that’s been loaded on to the Keecker, or content pulled directly from your smartphone. The Android powered robot’s 360-degree sound and video system will follow you through the house as you Skype with a friend across the world, listen to surround sound music, play video games with your house guests, and much more. While it’s not quite sophisticated enough to apprehend an unwanted intruder, you can check on your home remotely.
