We’ve owned several Subarus through our lifetime, and have always been huge fans of the fully capable AWD vehicles the brand pumps out. Today we get our first look at the Japanese auto maker’s flagship model, the 2015 Subaru WRX STI.

Although it’s not officially set to debut until the Detroit Auto Show, the internet didn’t get the memo. Sure we don’t know the exact tech specs yet (those will have to wait until the official unveiling), but STI fans will definitely love what they see here. Sporting the same World Rally Blue paint job, contrasting gold wheels, and massive spoiler we’ve come to know and love, this thing is sure to find its way into plenty of driveways across the states when it hits dealers later this year. Early reports suggest the STI will be equipped with a turbo-charged 2.5 liter boxer motor putting down ballpark numbers of 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. While we’re hoping for more power from the flat-four, we’re not holding our breath either.
