2014 NikeLab ACG Collection
Just when you thought Nike had basically washed its hands clean of its All Conditions Gear line, Phil Knight and company are bringing it back… with a twist.
Reborn as NikeLab ACG, the new line of footwear, outerwear, and portable storage aims squarely at the urban dweller who wants stylish mobility in their weather protective gear.
The selection will meld a smorgasbord of some of Nike’s best tech, including Nike Tech Fleece, Nike Dri-FIT Wool and Nike Flyknit, with clean lines, dark colors, and reflective logos predominantly featured. The designers are touting something called “all conditions fit,” with clothing and footwear that offers an advanced range of motion, giving the wearer the “ability to transition to any movement and to any situation.”
Of course that wouldn’t mean much if there wasn’t room for your essentials, and Nike says that’ll be covered with plenty of options for storing your phone and other tech that you travel with. The first batch from the new ACG line includes ACG 2-in-1 men’s jacket, ACG Tech Fleece men’s pants, ACG Tech Fleece Funnel men’s sweatshirt, ACG Pocket men’s T-shirt, ACG Flyknit Trainer Chukka SFB, ACG Lunarterra Arktos and the ACG Responder backpack. Expect the collection to hit select retailers on December 18th.[Purchase]
