2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA Class
Mercedes-Benz is looking to compete with BMW’s 1 Series by offering up their own budget friendly model in the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA Class, but the key with the Benz is that you would never guess this thing would be priced around $30,000.
Set to officially debut at the Berlin Motor Show, this budget friendly Benz is a clash between the beautifully crafted CLS model and the A-Class hatchback model. The end result is certainly impressive, and far from what you’d expect with a German luxury vehicle at this price point. The first offering to be introduced from the CLA family will be the Mercedes-Benz CLA250, which is outfitted with a turbocharged 1.8 liter four cylinder pumping out 208 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. It is however front wheel drive, keep in mind it is a lower priced Benz, but Mercedes plans on rolling out a 4Matic all wheel drive version along with a more beefed up AMG version. As previously noted, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA Class will hit the scene with a sticker price of around $30,000 this fall season.
