Jaguar is looking to make an impression on the automotive scene with the upcoming debut of the 2014 Jaguar XKR-S GT.

Set to be unveiled at the New York Auto Show, this beautiful piece of machinery is essentially a revamped version of the original XKR-S built in a street legal form. Jaguar has kept the supercharged 5.0 liter V8 intact, pumping out an impressive 550 horsepower along with 502 lb-ft of torque. The exterior has been completely spruced up though, with carbon fiber treatments found throughout, redesigned diffuser, and of course that large racing style spoiler out back. It’s also worth noting that this Jaguar is equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes and 20 inch wheels for a more aggressive. Only 25 units are slated to hit the states, 5 additional units landing in Canada, all with a price tag of about $174,000 when they release this coming August.
