It looks like the new Jaguar XKR-S GT wasn’t the only thing the British car manufacturer up their sleeves for this year’s New York Auto Show. Featured here is the latest introduction from the luxury brand in the 2014 Jaguar XJR.

We have been in love with the XJ since it hit the automotive scene, and after seeing the first “R” model from the XJ range, our relationship has been taken to the next level. In addition to the exterior upgrades like the front splitter, quad tailpipes and boot-lid spoiler, this thing has also seen a performance bump as well. The XJR sedan is packing a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine paired to an 8 speed transmission, and pumps out an impressive 542 horsepower along with 501 lb-ft of torque. This power will help the family sedan get to 60 miles per hour in just 4.4 seconds, and not to mention a top speed of 174 mph. This thing is nothing short of beautiful.  Well done Jaguar.
