2014 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake

Last week Jaguar teased us with a sneak peek of their upcoming luxury wagon “concept”, and today the brand has decided to pull back the cover on their very real Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake.

We had been hearing about this model for quite some time, and up until now, we weren’t quite sure that Jaguar was going to follow through with production. The vehicle utilizes the same powerplant as the Jaguar XFR-S Sedan – a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine pumping out 542 horsepower. It may look like it’s made for getting groceries with the family (and it is quite good at that), but this Jaguar is a fully capable sports car with a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 4.6 seconds, and a top speed of 186 mph. The 5-door is also equipped with an eight-speed transmission, active electronic differential, Dynamic Stability Control and more. Expect this vehicle to make its official debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.
