2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Zombie Survival Machine
The South Korean auto makers at Hyundai have committed a ton of time and research to their zombie apocalypse division. At our own San Diego Comic Con, the brand unveiled the Hyundai Veloster, and now their back at it with the Hyundai Santa Fe Zombie Survival Machine.
Debuted at New York Comic Con, this is the latest effort from the brand to combat the inevitable zombie takeover. The design itself was conceptualized by Anson Kuo using The Walking Dead Chop Shop configurator app the brand promoted during the season 4 premiere of the AMC series. To make the concept a reality, Hyundai once again called upon the team at Galpin Auto Sports. The SUV has been equipped with everything one needs to take out an entire army of the undead including an automatic crossbow, multiple machine guns, a samurai sword, several massive knife blades, aluminum armor, and razor wired windows for added protection. We recently compiled a list of the best vehicles to survive the zombie apocalypse, but it’s worth noting that if you live near a Hyundai plant, that might be a great place to look for wheels once the infection starts spreading. These guys have it down to a science.
