Italian bike maker Ducati has offered up the latest iteration on one of our personal favorite 2-wheelers in the 2014 Ducati Monster 1200 (and the 1200 S version as well).

Thanks to the second gen Testastretta 11° DS engine, the Monster 1200 is putting down an impressive 135 horsepower and 87 lb-ft of torque. For those of you looking for a bit more power, the 1200 S tweaks the same power plant for a setup that’s good for 145 horsepower and 92 lb-ft of torque. The bike’s aesthetics are stunning to say the least, blending the character of a sport bike with the sophistication we’ve come to expect from Ducati. Expect to pay $13,495 for the standard version, while the S version of the bike will set you back about $16,000.
