The American International Detroit Auto Show brought with it plenty of new vehicle debuts, and the 2014 Cadillac ELR was certainly one of the standout offerings from the GM owned brand.

Utilizing the same powertrain as the Chevy Volt, the ELR is a battery powered electric vehicle that also features a 1.4 liter gasoline powered motor to back up the battery. The vehicle gets 35 miles on a single charge, and that’s when the gasoline powered motor will kick in. The 435 pound battery helps the vehicle pump out 207 horsepower, and although this technology is great, the interior is what really blew us away on this particular model. The luxury interior features leather stitched accents paired with your choice of wood grain or carbon fiber, with a full touch  screen setup powered by the Cadillac CEU2. Don’t expect to see this vehicle hit the scene until 2014, and the price has yet to be announced.
