Alpina has worked closely with the folks at BMW for years now, and helped pump some of our favorite revamped versions of Bimmer’s classic models. Today the two have teamed up to introduce the beautifully designed 2014 BMW Alpina ZXD3 Bi-Turbo.

Based on the BMW Xdrive35D, this thing has been upgraded from the inside out. For starters the 3.0 liter 6 cylinder diesel’s power plant has been increased from 313 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque to 350 ponies paired with pavement pounding 516 lb-ft of torque. Of course these thing has been deck out to the nines on the exterior as well with multi spoke 20 inch turbine wheels, quad exhaust tips, and that oh so beautiful Alpina Blue paint job. Unfortunately it’s not making its way to the states, and will more than likely stay a European exclusive offering.
