While it’s probably not the best piece of furniture for the colder months that lie ahead, you can bet your bottom dollar that the Suspended Swingrest is a contender for best summer time seating.

Created by French designer Daniel Pouzet for Dedon, the Swingrest is a basket-like bed that lets you lounge over any body of water – seeing that it’s completely suspended. The tabletop section rotates 180 degrees, letting you really take in those stunning views, and also includes a proprietary suspension system to keep your Swingrest stable while you shift. This unique piece of furniture also comes equipped with an optional fabric curtain cover that’s perfect for shading yourself from the sun, or to keep prying eyes from seeing what’s going on behind the curtain. Of course you can also remove the suspension system, and just set this bad boy up on land as well. [Purchase]
