You’re now one step closer to taking over Hollywood—and this time we don’t mean Hollywood, Florida. The new D16 from Digital Bolex is a digital camera styled in the mold of the classic 16mm cameras, but this one is on the bleeding edge of tech. It shoots in RAW mode at 32 frames per second (2048×1152 resolution) and promises to yield cinema-quality footage with a distinctive feel that’s damn near impossible to find for under $4,000 (the 256g GB model is going for $3,300).

Other niceties include a 2.4-inch digital viewfinder, stereo audio recorder with an XLR input, HDMI output, interchangeable lens mount, and a removable pistol grip. If you can’t produce something better than a Michael Bay film with this thing in a few months, well, there’s always Florida. [Purchase]
