Squito Throwable Panoramic Camera

Created by Boston native Steve Hollinger, the Squito is a throwable panoramic camera that is looking to revolutionize the world of aerial and panoramic photography.

Equipped with three separate cameras alongside a microcontroller, image processor and an inertial measurement unit, the tennis ball sized sphere can transmit all video and images captured directly to the user’s mobile device or computer. The camera has the ability to capture, re-orient, and stitch into panorama thanks to spin stabilization technology. The applications are truly endless, but two of the most exciting would have to be professional sports along with search and rescue.
