Since first announcing the Lunar camera last year, we have patiently been waiting for more details surrounding the Hasselblad mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. Unfortunately we still don’t have an exact release date, but we do have the first official photo, and this thing is a true work of art.

Equipped with features like a 24.3MP APS-C sensor, 25 AF points, 3-inch LCD and OLED viewfinder, an ISO range of 100 to 16000, and of course that stunning wood grip, the Hasselblad Lunar is definitely one of the most anticipated gadgets this summer season. With a rumored price tag of $6,500, it’s also one of the most expensive. The shooter is based on the Sony NEX-7 and is constructed from premium materials like titanium, carbon fiber, leather, and even gold. An April release date was originally speculated, but April is long gone, and still no Lunar. With this photo hitting the web though, we imagine it’s only a matter of time before more details emerge.
