For ages product designers have looked for ways to make sitting long hours in a work chair “more healthy.” Brands like Herman Miller have done a stand up job with chairs like the Embody, but the team at MWE Lab decided to take things up a notch with their Emperor 1510 LX Workstation.

Okay so it’s not really fair to compare this thing to an anything else on the market, and that’s because it’s so badass, there’s nothing else in its category. Inspired by the science fiction films we love so much, the Emperor workstation comes equipped with 3 monitors with support for up to 5 (talk about multi-tasking), and pairs these screens with a BOSE surround sound system for a theater like experience. Other useful features include a rotating base, a stand for your laptop, a shelf for stationary and much more. Did we mention this particular one will set you back about $21,000? You didn’t think all that awesome came cheap did you?
