British car manufacturer Land Rover has officially pulled the covers of its brand new 2013 Range Rover. The brand has done what many considered to be impossible, increasing the size of the vehicle while decreasing the curb weight.

The 2013 Range Rover is roughly 700 pounds lighter than a similarly equipped outgoing model, and this all thanks to an all aluminum uni-body construction. Performance and powertrain information is yet to be released, but the vehicle has been outfitted with a next generation Terrain Response system for optimum off road performance. This system monitors the road conditions and surfaces automatically adjusting to the most efficient settings. The vehicle is also sporting a re-engineered four corner air suspension. Although we don’t have the exact specifications for the engine, all o the offerings will be mated to an eight speed automatic transmission.
