It’s hard to imagine something as incredible as the Caterham Seven Supersport getting even more incredible, but that’s exactly what we have here with the 2013 Caterham Seven Supersport R.

The UK based car maker increased the displacement on the latest model from the standard 1.6 liter Ford motor  to a 2.0 liter Duratec engine. The net result? The latest Caterham is pumping out an impressive 180 horsepower as oppose to the previous 140 horsepower offering. The vehicle only weighs  1,200 pounds, so that amount of power paired with 120 pound feet of torque help this thing rocket to 60 miles per hour from a standstill in just 4.8 seconds. The vehicle is still somewhat affordable, although it’s mostly considered a toy for the wealthy at $45,000 USD.
