German auto maker Audi has refined its flagship vehicle for the new year as the 2013 Audi R8 undergoes a few subtle changes.

Although it was introduced to the automotive seven years ago, the original R8 still looks great to this day. That hasn’t kept Audi from staying on top of their game though, implementing subtle improvements to ensure the R8 stays ahead of its time. For 2013, the vehicle under goes a few design changes including the redesigned LED headlights and taillights, revised bumper and grille, and new rear diffuser plus circular exhaust pipes. The most important change comes in the drive train as Audi dumps the R-tronic in favor of a seven speed S-tronic transmission. Don’t worry, the standard six speed gearbox is still available for those of you that love the feeling of control.
