2013 Land Rover Defender
For 2013 Land Rover will be giving their iconic Defender a few upgrades, but the classic design remains untouched for the most part.
The saying goes “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it,” and that’s certainly been the case for the Land Rover Defender. Launched back in 1983 as the Land Rover Ninety and One Ten, the vehicle rarely undergoes design changes, and much of the original design aesthetics can be seen in today’s model. For 2013 the brand will be introducing two new exterior colors including Barolo Black and Havana, along with three additional options which include four new contrast roof colors, body hugging seats, and an upgrade for the base audio system that adds modern day Bluetooth technology along with an Alpine subwoofer. The 2.2 liter turbo diesel power plant has remained unchanged, delivering 120 horsepower that’s good for a zero to sixty time of 14.7 seconds and a top speed of 90 miles per hour.
